Don't miss the chance for you and your buddy to enjoy the live music at Woofstock 2009. Participants can also take part in a silent auction for one-of-a-kind pet products, or head to the K9 Playground for some fun. Jon Provost from the classic TV series "Lassie" is scheduled to meet and greet the crowd, and if you're up early, join some other furry friends in the Fun Dog Walk before the festival.

Replace the sounds of engines with sounds of happy dogs barking as thousands of people and dogs come to walk around the famous 2.5-mile track at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Visit booths displaying goodies for you and your buddy. Last year, the event raised more than $340,000 for charity.

Leave your worries at home and head to Chateau Faire Le Pont Winery with your dog to unwind. You can play with your dog, and while he enjoys treats, you can enjoy the wine and the company of your best friend. This event is scheduled the third Friday each month from April through October.

Want some new artwork? A caricaturist will be onsite at the 2009 Paw Festival to draw you and your friend, along with a pet photographer to capture the fun on film. A silent auction and numerous other raffles start at 10 a.m., but since you don't have to be present to win, you and your pal can enjoy the great music and games. Rain or shine, plan to attend—most events are under tents.
