Tunes for the ‘iPawed’
By Paula Felps
When it comes to your furry friend, a tail-wagging song makes those fun-filled times together even more enjoyable! Here are some great tunes for a terrific “play” list!
- The Puppy Song: This delightfully light and bouncing Harry Nilsson song celebrates the joy of having a puppy to share your life with.
- You’re My Best Friend: This Queen hit from 1975 certainly applies to your special kind of friendship!
- Martha My Dear: This popular Beatles song was actually inspired by Paul McCartney’s English Sheepdog, Martha.
- Hound Dog: Whether you prefer the rendition by Elvis or the original blues version performed by Big Mama Thornton, this song is a must-have for any canine playlist!
- I Love to Run!: Robbie Long’s light-hearted, upbeat song sung from a dog’s perspective will have you and your dog ready to romp outside.
- Squeaky Deaky: This squeaker-filled tune from the Songs to Make Dogs Happy CD is a fun ditty sure to make his ears perk up and your foot to tap—and it might just inspire you both to find that favorite toy to make your own music together.
