Protect the dogs against what has yet to be proven by the FDA but has been proven by pet owners. Beneful removed = dog gets better. Who's going to tell them to stop the Beneful...not the FDA, Purina or most of the time even their vet, that's why I am here to say hey, it worked for my dog too. I bring up the jerky because history repeats itself, they ignored complaints for 5 years!! & the FDA continues to refuse there was a contaminant & said that the dogs didn't need the treats to maintain because they get all the nutrition they need from their dog food & withholding them would not harm your pet. In other words, they are saying don't give them to your dog without stating the treats were harmful, that way no one gets sued. In a few years maybe Beneful will be voluntarily withdrawn also & the FDA will still refuse to admit a contaminant then too...or maybe someone's dog is fine on Beneful for right now then suddenly gets sick/dies like my dog niece & people will say I should have listened. I agree, some cases it may not be the food at all but not in my case.
